ABOUT THRIVE INITIATIVE
Helping people thrive
through technological change.
Thrive Initiative is a Canadian not-for-profit dedicated to helping people navigate an economy shaped by AI, automation, and robotics.
We believe people should have the knowledge, resources, and opportunities to move forward with confidence and shape their own futures.

Technology changes lives.
People deserve a say in how.
AI and robotics are changing how we work, earn, learn, and participate in society. Those changes reach beyond the workplace, influencing our choices, relationships, and sense of security.
Thrive exists to help people navigate this transition and to bring their experiences into the decisions that affect them. Our broader ambition is to connect practical support for individuals with informed conversations about how employers and governments adopt technology.
We’re starting by listening. Understanding what people are experiencing is the foundation for deciding where Thrive can be most useful.
OUR BELIEFS
Confidence. Choice. Shared opportunity.
Human agency
People should have access to the tools, skills, and insights they need to make informed choices and shape their own futures.
Economic participation
Technological progress should create opportunities for people to participate, contribute, and build financial confidence and security.
Wellbeing
How technology affects everyday life matters. People’s time, relationships, confidence, and sense of possibility belong in the conversation.
OUR FIRST INITIATIVE
Life With Machines
Real stories of how AI and robotics are changing our lives.
Through interviews with people across careers and life stages, we’re exploring everyday experiences, emerging opportunities, and the support people need.
These conversations will inform published case studies, bringing lived experience into a wider discussion of technological change. They will also help shape Thrive’s next steps.
